“Be True To Your Nature” by Erwan Le Corre (Hebertiste – MovNat)

A new from Erwan Le Corre, known in the community as “Hebertiste”. This is NOT a , it is “méthode naturelle” / natural method, and it is published here for inspirationnal purpose. Here is how Erwan presented his on Youtube :

Many people have emailed me asking to see more of my training in Nature, so here’s a new that we’ve just edited, using elements that were filmed on the island of Corsica, , just a year ago.

I feel it is important to remind that even though the practice of MovNat should include free, exploratory sessions in nature consisting in purely random and adaptive natural movement and spontaneous action, MovNat is above all a training method which involves principles, techniques and programming.

The Natural Movement Coaching System that is MovNat is fully scalable and enables practitioners to make faster, broader and safer progress in the practice of natural movement, regardless of experience.

To optimize practice and for coaching efficiency reasons, i.e offering a broad range of training variety in a limited space and shortening the learning curve while ensuring full scalability and injury-prevention, it is essential to practice in a custom-built facility first.

It is especially true for beginners, people that are out of shape, that risk to injure themselves or would be intimidated starting from scratch on their own, to optimally supervise group training, for people that don’t have easy access to outdoors, people that live in areas where the winter is particularly tough, for people that understand that what may feel “natural” is not necessarily efficient or optimal, and all simply for all people that lack time and need to optimize the time which they can dedicate to training.

A MovNat training facility can be indoors or outdoors or mix both indoors and outdoors and provides ideal conditions to get started with the assistance of competent coaching.

So again, this new does not explain anything about the training/coaching method, it is designed to display natural movement training in nature, i.e the most adaptive form of natural movement, and finally to be inspirational.

I hope you will enjoy it!

Erwan Le Corre

– “The Nature Of Challenge” is a parkour documentary produced by Paul Maunder (you maybe know him as “Obsidian”), written by Dave Sedgley, and with many practitionners (if you have the names, tell me ;-) ).

Here is how Paul Maunder introduce his on Youtube :

Dave Sedgley

Dave Sedgley

“we have tried our best to ensure that this short film gives the most accurate information possible about and the methods and ideas behind it”

This is a short film of 37 min long (short for a film, long for a parkour video but perfect for a documentary). Paul continues with this :

It is a deliberate departure from the typical “media ” you might see on TV and aims to provide reliable information to both newcomers and experienced practitioners alike.

The documentary is really great. In fact : it’s probably one of the best I’ve ever seen. There are some nice parts performed by good Traceurs, some nice and inspiring training parts and some “blabla” which share the feeling of .

It is divided in 4 parts on Youtube (it was too long for only one). Paul says : “have a look and judge for yourself”. I’m personally sure you’ll like it ;-)

“Escape” : a parkour video from Sydney

Screenshots of Escape “Escaping the chaos of everyday life, to take a step back and capture each moment.”

escape parkour

We wanted to show something different from the normal videos we make, not just a full of single moves. Something that shows the way we really feel about training. We tried to capture some of the feelings we get when we train.

This was filmed in Sydney and features Shaun Wood, Rhys James and Wiseno. A really nice parkour video (contain some tricks), nice editing, perfect movements.

Don’t miss it, it is really inspirationnal !
