Some Parkour in “The Office” !

You maybe already know the TV serie “The Office”, with Michael Scott (Steve Carell) as a manager (US version).

The series depicts the everyday lives of office employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania, branch of the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.

On September 17, 2009 (few months ago), the 1^st episode of “The Office” season 6 aired on NBC for the first time, staring characters Michael Scott (the manager / boss), Andy and Dwight who decided to do an internet parkour video, taping their parkour antics everywhere in the office and outside of the building, all the while shouting “PARKOUR!” and loosely imitating what Jim accurately described as “the Internet sensation of 2004”.

Christmas is not christmas without a parkour video with Santa Claus ! As each year, the Finnish Traceurs from Parkour.fi have made their Santa Claus parkour video. Here is the plot :

Oh boy oh boy oh boy! The rumor goes, and a serious rumor it is, that Mr Santa Claus himself has robbed a bank! And he was supposed to be one of the good guys! If you do not belive it, go and check it out, since it is all on video!

Wow, a really big jump ! I usually don’t like to promote such big jumps(it needs so much training before being able to do that), but this time I made an exception. This jump is amazing ! The guy took few steps to run, and then jumped from a roof to another, lower. It seems to have been done for Life News(probably for a parkour TV advert), and I don’t have any more info. Do you ? November 18th, S-Petersburg, Erik Muhametshin and Eugeniy Obuhov took a leap from the eight-storey house’s roof to the roof of five-storey house, between wiеch were 7 meters. There were 2 reasons of this action.These activities were seeked to: …attrect public’s attention to the parkour. 2. attrect public’s attention to the problem of specialised parkour gym shortage.

I must admit that I’ve never seen any parkour video like this one before… The editing/ambiance is just… well… “strange” ? But the vid’ is nice anyway. Take a look !

I’ve decided that Rage-Froobling just isn’t for me; so I and anyone I can brainwash are going to start training a new discipline called Making-Freezeframes-of-Rumplestiltskin.

We just filmed this in one day and I had malaria so that’s why I’m not really very good, besides all the landings only have 3 inches of finger space so it’s harder than it looks. We didn’t actually manage to get any shots of Rumplestiltskin but we did capture some audio from him, which is used in edit.

If you watched this then really you should pay me £10, if you think about it. I don’t do this crap for fun ya’know.
